AICR’s 10 Cancer Prevention Recommendations Toolkit

AICR’s 10 Cancer Prevention Recommendations Toolkit provides resources for health professionals to educate individuals on AICR’s evidence-based Cancer Prevention Recommendations and how to put our Recommendations into action. The toolkit contains the following materials:

1. Ready-made Power-Point Presentation. This 54-slide presentation goes through AICR’s 10 Recommendations—highlighting the goals and key messages, translating the science and discussing practical applications from the Recommendations. Several tools and resources are also highlighted throughout to help individuals even further. 
2. Suggested script. A guide to help presenters highlight main points.
3. Commonly asked questions (with answers) to guide meaningful discussion and conversation.
4. 10 Cancer Prevention Recommendations printable infographic. This can be used alongside the presentation or/and as follow up material.

This toolkit can be used to educate individuals in either a large or small group setting and provides health professionals a guide to explain, educate and teach individuals about AICR’s research and evidence to help lower cancer risk and for healthy survivorship. The main focus of the presentation is nutrition, diet and physical activity.
